Overview of the Order and Printing Process

  1. First and foremost, Djams has addressed many possible issues below but wants to clearly reiterate that if anyone has a problem, question, or concern - please don't hesitate to email at EmailYourPhoto@Djams or phone at 813 684 6700.
     
  2. Select desired Photo Ball and complete the payment through Djams secure PayPal/Google Checkout connection. Photo Ball customers do not have to have a pre-existing account with either PayPal (owned by eBay) or Google to make a purchase.  Djams uses both payment services because they have an extremely secure method for credit card processing and eliminates the need for Djams to collect/retain any credit card or bank information. The only information Djams requests on the Photo Placement Order Form is the PayPal/Google transaction number.
     
  3. Complete the Photo Placement Order Form, located on the Main Webpage and attach the Photos/Logos for printing. Customers can also include any text message they want printed on the ball, the only limitations for text is the physical size of the ball, if Djams can make it fit - it will print. During the proofing process, a customer will be able to see the layout of the ball in full color and detail. Should one have any problems using the order form - please use any email program and let Djams know the situation.
     
  4. Customers will receive a pre-printing proof showing photo/logo/text layout,  this is an important step as it gives the customer the final approval or option for change before printing & shipping process is completed. It is at this stage that one should verify all spelling, text completeness, and photo/logo clarity.
     
  5. Djams, upon receiving proof approval or modification, will complete the printing & shipping process normally within 72 hours. Shipping is by US Priority Mail - this is a 2-3 day service with tracking capability. Djams will email the tracking number once generated by the US Postal Service. All Photo Balls can be tracked by www.usps.com

Problem with the Photo Placement Order Form process/email

Don't worry - we understand that sometimes problems develop. Here's the easiest way to handle this. Send us an email from whatever email program/process you are used to - our email address is EmailYourPhoto@Djams.com. Make the email subject line your entire ten-digit phone number - the subject line is the little message you can read when an email arrives in your inbox. In the body of the email, include your contact information, attach any photos/logos/ and text you need us to have. This email can have multiple attachments of any type - just send it all to us and we'll sort it out. Don't worry - we'll send confirmation that we received your email, we'll create a full color layout proof and email you before printing. You always know exactly what the ball will look like before you open the box. Shipping via US Priority Mail

After carefully investigating the many options for shipping our Photo Balls - Djams has settled on the US Priority Mail (2-3 day) service which offers the most economical shipping process with status notification.

Unconditional Service Guarantee

Some ask why this is needed? The bottom line, some balls don't make it through the shipping process in perfect shape or occasionally Djams will honestly make an error. Regardless of what the reason - if any customer is not happy with the final Photo Ball - Djams will reprint the balls for no additional printing charge. Because of the unconditional guarantee,  Djams requests that the customer ship the ball back to our plant in Tampa at the customers expense and Djams will reprint and reship the ball back to the customer at Djams expense.

Photo Ball Returns, 2310 Oakhurst Court, Valrico Florida 33596. Include a short note explaining the problem, include the ball with a problem, include either the original photo or new photo (photo can be emailed as well), finally ship by any carrier that offers tracking - Djams uses the US Postal Service and have received exceptional service with very aggressive rates - regular parcel post service is fine but include the tracking feature for an extra dollar. The reprint process takes about the same amount of time as the original printing process.

The Photo Ball printing process is guaranteed against cracking, peeling, yellowing, or any other normal use conditions. These balls and ornaments are meant for display purposes only - while customers can use these Photo Balls outside in the elements, they may get dirty, scratched, or water-logged which can damage the printing - this would fall outside our service guarantee and would not be covered. If there is a reasonable and/or legitimate problem - Djams will reprint the picture at no charge and return ship at Djams expense.

What photo formats are accepted?

Djams prefers JPG formats for electronic transfer of customer photos/logos. We can however receive nearly all popular graphics formats, let us know if you have specific questions. Depending on which graphics program one is using, Djams requests the file name format to be AreaCodePhoneNumber.jpg where "AreaCodePhoneNumber" is just that, the area code and phone number with no space between any number or punctuation, and the ".jpg" extension is just that - a JPG file extension format.

Example: Area Code 813 and Phone Number 684 6700 would produce a file name: 8136846700.jpg. This is important - each customer's filename.jpg must match the Area Code and Phone Number on the Picture Placement Order Form.

Djams scans customer graphics for viruses and potential problems, if the customer file is damaged or contains a virus - Djams will automatically delete the email. However, when Djams receives payment and a Photo Placement Order Form with no picture, they will contact the customer via phone/email. If a customer doesn't hear from Djams regarding a photo/order submission, please call or email them.

When in doubt, Djams will call or email the customer to verify the picture identification.

Pantone Colors

Due to the unique heat/printing process used, Djams can not guarantee a perfect Pantone Color Match for school/company logos. In most cases this is not a factor, but it must be mentioned as computer graphic software allows for high resolution color separations that sometime during the high heat printing process - will change one shade to a slightly darker shade. Call or Email Djams if this is a concern, of the thousands of balls produced over the years, this has happened only a handful of times and in each case - a workable solution was found for the problem.

Picture quality, restrictions, and size

Emailed JPG files - please realize that our printing process uses a 1000x1000 dpi resolution maximum - make sure the JPG picture sent to Djams will have the necessary clarity for that level of resolution. Just because an image looks good on the computer screen, doesn't necessarily translate to high quality printing.

Customers want to only submit high resolution photographs that have been developed from either camera film or photographed by a high resolution digital camera. We don't recommend digital pictures from camera phones or low resolution cameras (under 1 mega pixel), copies of other photos, or attachments with a file size under 50K. Information Confidentiality

Djams does not save any part of your photograph to any type of media ie. floppy disk, CD, DVD, flash memory, hard disk, etc. As soon as the printing is finished, any and all electronic formats of the customers photograph/logo is erased unless you request that we same images for future use.

Because of the sensitive nature of the customers photographs and personal information sent to us, Djams will not copy, sell, distribute, trade, or use their information in any way other then the internal process of Photo Ball production and shipping. Djams communicates with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Hillsborough County (Florida) Sheriff's Department regarding their business operations, printing procedures, and legal compliance; Djams will continue to adhere to all Florida laws and their own internal policies regarding information and photographic confidentiality.

Credit Card Processing

There is a simple reason that we only use PayPal and Google Checkout to process your credit card information - we don't need, receive, or ever know your confidential credit information. We allow PayPal and Google Checkout to process your credit cards securely, confidentially, and maintain your credit card information in their secure servers. We only received from both companies a confirmation of payment received as we are processing your Photo Ball order. No one from Djams, GameBallsToGo, EmailYourPhoto or any of our affiliate sites, will ever ask you for your credit card number for any reason. This is for your protection as well as ours.

Business Code of Ethics

Ethics is something that often businesses "claim" and falter on, some companies will pay hundreds of dollars to the local chapter of the Better Business Bureau to proudly display the "BBB" (trademark rights apply) logo on their website. Djams takes a slightly different approach.
